The son of a PCA pastor, Joe grew up in a small town outside of Charlotte, North Carolina. He met his wife, Faith, at Covenant College, where they both majored in

Biblical and Theological Studies. Joe and Faith were married in June of 2016 and moved to South Carolina for church ministry shortly after graduation. They have two boys, Winchester and Sutton.

Joe completed his Masters of Divinity at Erskine Theological Seminary, primarily on the Columbia campus, while he was an intern at New Harmony Presbyterian Church for three years.

Joe enjoys lifting weights, the outdoors, meeting new friends, and every sport known to mankind.
