Dear Church Family,

Have you had the opportunity demonstrate the Lord's love in ministry or an act of kindness to a neighbor?

I would love to hear about it if you have.  As an encouragement for our church and a call to press on in service one to another, please share any example (especially if you have a photo or video).   We will put these together as a brief video to share through our streaming service.

I recently read of a PCA church encouraging "Random Acts of Kindness"  and sharing suggestions on ways to bless one another (eg. neighbors) even during "social distancing" measures.   See the attached list of ideas.

Please respond to this email or directly to me with any stories, pictures, or videos.   And if you would rather not share that is OK also.   Remember our God sees and knows of your love (Heb. 6:10).

Blessings in Christ,

Robert

Acts of Kindness

1.     Leave a thank you note for your mail carrier and garbage pickup crew

2.    Send a thank you note with mom or dad to the people at the grocery store/pharmacy/doctor's office, etc. - or create a thank you art card, take a photo of it, and post it to different businesses' social media accounts so they can see it virtually.

3.     Ask for a list of those in need of prayer in our church right now and send them a kind note of prayer or a child's artwork as encouragement

4.    Set a basket of mini hand sanitizers at the edge of the driveway for walkers in the neighborhood to take.

5.    Sing a happy song!  Go curbside caroling in your neighborhood, or create a video of your family singing and post it online.

6.    Paint rocks with Bible references or words of kindness on them and leave them around your neighborhood.

7.    Call your grandparents and ask them about their childhood.

8.    Set the table for dinner.

9.    Donate food to the food pantry.

10.  Make your sibling’s bed.

11.  Send an email to your principal bragging on your teacher.

12.  Make placemats for family meals.

EMAIL FROM PASTOR ROBERT:

This is Conrad & Blair Kellahan's family

Easter weekend. They made brownies

and put them in a sealed sandwich bag

and attached the painted rocks to them and hung them on door knobs.

P.S.  I ate the brownies before thinking to take a picture.
